RHAPSODY PRAGUE CHILDREN'S MUSIC FESTIVAL
Milwaukee Children's Choir Cantorei and Chamber Cantorei traveled to Prague, Vienna and Salzburg for the 2007 Rhapsody Prague Children's Music Festival. Joan Gregoryk, Founder and Artistic Director of the Children's Chorus of Washington, served as the Festival's Guest Conductor. Six concert venues included St. Stephan's Cathedral in Vienna, the site of Mozart's funeral in 1791; St. Andra Church in Salzburg; and Prague's famed Smetana Hall. MCC was joined by members of the Hong Kong Children's Choir, Le Vocalise, Red Rose Children's Choir, and Children's Choir Radost-Praha.

BETTY BRINN CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
Singers from MCC's Prelude and Concert Choir charmed young attendees at a short concert in the Betty Brinn Children's Museum's theater. After the performance, audience members joined our singers to play games and sing songs, and a good time was had by all.

MILWAUKEE YOUTH CHORALE AT BREWERS GAME
Milwaukee Youth Chorale at Miller Park, Milwaukee WI.
With a performance of the National Anthem, the Milwaukee Youth Chorale helped the Brewers start strong in an evening game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The high school singers looked great and sounded great, served the community, and enjoyed social time together. To top it off, the Brew Crew treated the crowd to some pyrotechnics with their bats, and won the game!

HENRY LECK WORKSHOP

Milwaukee Children's Choir Cantorei and Chamber Cantorei in Madison WI.
MCC's Chamber Cantorei headed to Madison to sing for Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Iowa music teachers at a workshop featuring Henry Leck of the Indianapolis Children's Choir. The ICC is one of the largest and finest children's choirs in the world, and it was an honor to work with its founder and artistic director.

JUSTINIAN SOCIETY OF LAWYERS COLUMBUS DAY BANQUET

MCC's Cantorei performed for a gathering of Milwaukee's Justinian Society of Lawyers at their annual Columbus Day Dinner. After performing the Italian and American National Anthems and other selections, our young singers had their own festive evening with an Italian theme, including Italian fare and several rounds of bocce ball!

For eighteen performances beginning December 14th, selected MCC members provide the angelic voices accompanying the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra in performances of Michael Pink's The Nutcracker with the Milwaukee Ballet. MYAC SUMMER CAMP. MCC educators work with city youth as part of the MYAC Summer Camp, a collaboration among First Stage Children's Theatre, MYSO, Festival City Symphony, Danceworks, and MCC. The all-day two-week program ended with a presentation for family and friends.
