Now Recruiting Singers for Spring Session

MCC has a limited number of spaces still available for spring singers.

Milwaukee (February 17, 2008)–Do you know a child that loves to sing? It’s not too late to call our office (414-221-7040) to ask about spring choir membership. BUT ACT NOW!

Building Noteworthy Character

Artistic Director Emily Crocker founded the Milwaukee Children’s Choir (MCC) in 1994. She envisioned a choir that would serve Milwaukee youth through quality music education and please Milwaukee audiences through artistic excellence. Under her guidance and vision MCC has grown from a group of 35 musical novices simply wanting to sing to what it is today: a musical ensemble comprised of hundreds of singers, grades 1-12, singing in five distinct choir levels. Members come from the six-county area. They come from family farms and dense urban areas and everything in between, and they represent more than 150 schools.

MCC’s mission is to provide choir members with quality, age-appropriate choral instruction and performance opportunities that foster their creativity, their personal expression, and their social growth. We help our choir members build, within themselves, noteworthy character.

We encourage you to peruse our website for additional information. We have pages describing our performances, our choirs, our program, our staff and our recordings. And if you are looking for a list of current supporters, board members and touring information, it can be found at our History Page.
